What is new for MAX Messages version 1.1?

Additional Format Html

It's now possible to archive your conversations as web pages that can be viewed in any browser. Useful for flexible browsing, easy access outside of MAX Messages, and archives that are meant to be explored on screen rather than kept as fixed documents.

Import/Export

Internal databases can be imported. All conversations, a selected conversation or the visible messages can be exported to Internal Database, PDF or Html.

Printing/Attachments

The currently visible messages can be printed. Only the attachments for a conversation or the search result can be saved.

Navigation

By default the newest message of a conversation is loaded. Cmd-up and cmd-down can be used to navigate to the oldest and newest message.

Contacts in Setup

A search has been added to the selection of the conversations in the Setup. It's now possible to automatically archive all conversations.

Onboarding

The start screen has been improved. The user must now have at least one plan with a conversation selected and an archive location before it is possible to start archiving. This is visible in the "Start here" section of the start screen.

Permissions

The permissions window has been redesigned. The help has been moved into the main window so that it is much easier to see what the user has to do. To make getting Full Disk Access easier it's now possible to drag an icon into the System Settings.
